Founded by Shanthala Govardhan, an experienced traveler and Goutham Divakar, a 25-year-old former Amazon operations professional, Aatri began as casual travel story exchanges in 2023 and evolved into a distinctive travel enterprise dedicated to transforming how people experience destinations.

Driven by a passion for discovering a destination's true essence, the duo began creating personalised travel experiences for friends and family. They rapidly expanded to offer curated boutique tours spanning cultural, spiritual, heritage, and corporate travel domains, exploring landscapes across India and internationally, with a mission to connect travellers meaningfully with their chosen destinations.

Derived from Atri, one of the revered Saptarishis mentioned in ancient Indian epics, the name Aatri symbolises overcoming challenges and voyaging through life—a perfect metaphor for their transformative approach to travel.
